We exist to help athletes build it, measure it, and protect it — at every stage of the journey, with tools that meet them exactly where they are.
Adam Patrick

Hughes, Arkansas. Population just over 1,500. If you grew up there, you were either at a ballgame, on a field, or in a gym. For Adam Patrick, it was all three.
Between games, Adam was on his grandfather's farm — learning early that hard work wasn't optional, that showing up mattered, and that the character you built in the quiet moments was the same character that showed up under pressure. His father was a coach. His mother was a teacher. Sports weren't just recreation in the Patrick household — they were a classroom, and home was too.
Adam went on to play basketball at the University of Arkansas at Monticello — and when his playing days ended, he carried those lessons into a different kind of arena. For the past 21 years, he has owned and operated a State Farm insurance agency in Petal, Mississippi. He built a business the same way he learned to compete: through consistency, accountability, and trust. Those aren't just business values. They're character traits.
But it was what he saw happening to athletes — year after year, at every level — that eventually became impossible to ignore.
"I watched talented athletes lose opportunities because they couldn't be coached, couldn't handle adversity, or couldn't be trusted by their teammates. And I watched average athletes earn scholarships because they had the character traits programs are built on."
And then NIL arrived. And Adam watched a new generation of college athletes — many of them kids from small towns just like Hughes — sign contracts they didn't understand, partner with brands they hadn't vetted, and face reputational risks no one had prepared them for.
The son of a coach and a teacher saw both problems clearly. And he built Pathway Sports Group to solve them.
